SD memory card with camera

When i put my SD memory card into my camera, I can not take a picture because the screen says the card is locked. Also, it will not let me delete any pictures because it will say the same thing.

Some sd cards have a little switch on the actual card to set it to the lock position for you can delete or do anything. Look to see if this is the case.
