SD Card Picture Error

I can't see or upload some of the pictures on my card.
When I scroll to where those pictures should be, the card
just says "picture error" and the pictures are not there.
Is there anyway to recover these pictures? There are
about 75 pictures on a disk of 500 that are missing.
They are the most recent pictures I took on that card.
