Hi, I need to know how to take video off of a digital camera memory card, and save it to my HD. The video is apparently in quicktime format. I can play it from the computer fine, but it will not save it unless I buy their quicktime pro crap. Is there a way I can save this using Media Player, or a freeware app? Do I have to buy craptime pro?
BTW, I registered here formerly as "Meditate" but my ignorant self forgot my password. I did write it down, but it was accidentally discarded. So I had to make a new account. Well, this time though I have made sure my password is thoroughly documented so I will not lose it. lol
Thanks everyone.

If your un-named digital camera did not come with software that provides the ability to transfer your files to the PC then a Media Card Reader would work just fine. They are fairly inexpensive.

P.S. How do you get images (.jpg) from the camera to the PC? Get the videos the same way.

I'm sorry. I neglected to post the camera. I thought for sure I did that. Anyway, it is a Kodak EasyShare DX7630. But yeah...that's odd....I thought I mentioned that. Thanks for the advice. I'll try to find the original software for this. If I can't find the disk, I may have to go to Kodak's website.
