restore corrupted photos

I recently quick formatted a partition by mistake and lost all my photographs. I have been able to recover them but most of the photos are corrupted. Would be grateful if anyone could help me to restore them.

what did you use to recover them? File Scavenger will find most pics and they wouldn't be corrupted.

The reason I suggested File Scavenger is beacuse I tried numerous other tools and it was the only one that worked real well for me (PERSONALLY) and I've recovered 1,000's of pics using it.
