I was recently cleaning my PC and i damaged the Nvidia GeForce Fx 5200 Gfx card.I will have to buy my Video card from wally world and heres My choices for replacing it .

(note : Click Sort by and sort buy Low to High)

http://www.walmart.com/search/searc...

From the

EVGA 256MB PCI-E e-GeForce 7200GS Graphics Card

to the

PNY NVIDIA GeForce 6200 256MB AGP Graphics Card

is what my budget is limited to.
By the way, i have a intel pentium 3 processor , like 512 ram , and that GFX card i had before. Im just wondering which Card do you think would be best suited ?

If you have Pent 3, your pc must be quite old.
So I doubt if you have a PCI-E socket.

I assume it has AGP.

Before posting try google. Backup. Use anti virus software.

You really should have posted in the hardware forum. You aren't supposed to double post, but if/when you do post again, I suggest that you use something like 'best AGP card under $50' in the subject.

'Jam' is the expert, so if he suggests something, follow his advice.

Sry bout that guys, im new to this site.

@ clive,
I thought about what you said and did some googling and came apon this

http://products.howstuffworks.com/n...

Its about my Previous card i had installed and it says something about it being PCI ?

I google imaged this PCI slot
http://www.hothardware.com/reviews/...

And thats how mine looks, except with the GFX card installed in the brownish sliver slot.

But then i was reading up on something else and someone said to check the amount of teeth on the card the teeth are in the same shape as

PNY NVIDIA GeForce 6200 256MB AGP Graphics Card
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/deta...

Which is AGP i guess , like u said clive.

Ok so overall,

I need to get a AGP card right? and dont get Pcie?

The brown slot is an AGP slot. So, yes, you need to get an AGP video card.

I agree, it looks like an AGP slot.

I replaced my graphics card, & just went for one with the biggest memory ie 512MB. But, I had to fit a 350W power supply. So, check that your power supply is ok.

Agp video card that can be ran on a 200 w Power supply.
The card should be better than a Nvidia geForce FX 5200 or at least the same.

The seller of the card needs to be able to take paypal. If anyone could help, again, greatly appreciated.
