Hi there. I'm in the news business, and I'm daily downloading images, resizing them, renaming them and uploading them to my own server.

However, I need a tool that can auto-rename my pictures.

If a set of pictures are named for example:

hurra112.jpg , hurra113.jpg, hurra114.jpg and so on, I need a ttol that can rename them 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg etc.

I also need to rename the same images 1_huge.jpg 2_huge.jpg etc.

Does anyone know of such a tool? If it had built-in watermakr feature it would be great, but it's not needed.

Photoshop Elements will batch rename, resize, etc. and it's inexpensive too. Click file, batch processing.

You cannot rename the watermark. You could overwrite the area in a different color.

In most cases watermarks are embedded so that they are part of the image. They are not a separate component or layer. A good watermark program can also an almost invisible signature over random areas of the graphic so that it can be found even if you do graphic manipulations like resizing or cropping. A watermark is someones signature, it is not nice trying to change it.

Windows XP will do thi for you, Simply highlight "all" pictures together then right click on the first one and give it a name, click enter and each one will be renamed sequentially. good luck
