Does anyone know if there is a universal wired or otherwise remote controller for shutter release on digital cameras. I have a Fuji S5600. Ive had problems in the past with other Cameras shaking at times when pressing the shutter.

Camera shake might/will occur when zoom is used - the greater the zoom, the more possibility of shake!

I am not aware of a universal remote being available - but perhaps somebody else will enlighten us!!

Cheaper to get a small tripod and use the timer facility.

Easy to avoid shake (on a preplanned shot anyway)

Place the camera on a tripod and use the SELF TIMER shutter release. (Your camera if I remember correctly, has a settable timer of 2 or 10 seconds)
