Hi,

I have a 2gb LG xstick USB flash drive which had some problems with files after an install of portable apps. The drive belongs to my sister, and she decided that formatting it would be the best course of action. She did this, but the drive would only show as having 967mb. I noticed through a shareware program that I downloaded that the memory stick was partitioned, so I did a low-level format on it and then tried formatting it in Windows, but it would only format at a maximum of 967mb?? How can I get the full 2GB back? I have also tried using the format utility in Windows Vista ultimate Beta2, but this is exactly the same as the XP one!

Does anyone know of any freeware utils that will do the job? thanks.
