This is probably a common question but I haven't been able to find an answer.
The SD card (Viking Interworks 512 MB) in my Canon Digital Ixus 60 got (low-level) formatted.
I realise that there is lots of software to recover data but they all seem to need the camera to show up with a drive letter. My camera only shows up as "Canon IXUS 60" in My Computer - no drive letter. There is also no "disk mode" option on the camera.
Is there a way to assign a drive letter to it or if not, is there any software that recovers data without needing a drive letter?
