Comment:

I recently ripped a chapter from the Full Metal Jacket DVD, (Using DVDShrink) and when I play it (.vob file) in RealPlayer10, it plays in French. Aside from not playing in Quicktime, at least WMP10 gets the English (but not video), and PowerDVD plays the regular video in normal English. Is there something I can do in RealPlayer to get it to play in English rather than French?

Thanks.

Does anyone know where I can get a .VOB -> .MPG (or any other Movie Maker compatible format)?

Thanks, help is appreciated.

I always re-encode VOB to MPG using TMPGEnc (needs extra codecs downloaded), but you may find movie maker can handled the VOB. If it's reluctant, try changing the file extension first.
