random image problems increasing

In my image viewing program as well as photoshop I keep getting random lines across the photos(not noise lines, these are some wierd sort of corruption). It's clearly not the camera. I'd be happy to send you a low res or high res sample of an image if it would help figure out what's wrong. I suspect bad RAM as there have been other faults that this might explain. Anyway have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
