Hey guyz i hope u will help me on this...!

i hav a Compaq Presario C795TU with Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor T2390 (1.86 GHz)
and windows xp pro running on it....
other specifications are as follows...

Mobile Intel[R] 965 Express chipset Family

with intel graphics media accelerator driver...

the other day i got a 7 pin s video cable and connected my laptop to my lg tv[using 3 colored pins]

basically my question is my tv is not getting detected on my laptop..

when i went into display properties and i peeked around i got the option of setting multiple monitors in my driver configuration dialog box...

but there is only a single monitor displaying i.e notebook's default monitor..!!

i would be glad if ne1 tries to solve my problem..!

Did you connect the s-video cable before or after booting the laptop?

What colors are the "3 colored pins"? Are they red, green and blue? If so, this is an s-video to component video cable.

Are the sockets on your TV red, green and blue? Or are they red, white and yellow? If the latter, you need an s-video to composite video cable. S-video to composite would usually only have one plug on the "tv end", which is yellow (because s-video is video only, no audio).
