Last month i replaced my projector lamp with a new one as the previous was giving lamp warning. After replacement of new lamp, the projector output quality has reduced. Can anyone help me that while purchasing Projector lamp , what all factors we need to look in For example i asked from shop keeper about its life and he told me its life is 2000 hours. are there other factors also other than telling only model number. are the lamps which can be fitted in same projector can have different Wattage or lumenous or brightness or any other Factor. Plz Explain in detail.

Its the Watts you should be looking at. If the original bulb was 150 Watts and you replaced it with a 100 Watt bulb then its not going to be so bright.

So it means it is only wattage which matters while selecting the new Lamp for Projector. No other factor is required. Am i right.
