Ok so heres a question thats stumped me cause i know jack about photoshop and other similar tools beyond the basic stuff cause it's never really interested me. Anyway, i got a photo a while back from a friend and they edited it so i couldnt see some of the peoples face in the picture with a simple circle cut and delete job. I didnt mind until that same person accidently deleted the original copy of the photo and now would really like that back. So I noticed the 'preview' version of the jpeg was unedited, as in, the mini preview version of the picture before you open it up for full size view. So my question is this: Can I somehow take that preview version of the photo, resize it to a bigger more viewable size thus restoring the photo's original state without the edit my friend did? Thanks for reading this and any advice/help is appreciated.

Nope. It's toast. Once you remove a section of a photo, save as, it's gone. Preview doesn't have the pixels of original.
