When I go into My Pictures and move photos around to match our vacation travels I can do this with no problem but when I go to put them onto the disc they have reverted back in order of the picture number.

What burning software are you using? I use Easy CD and also Sonic Record now, and as long as I put the pics on 1 at a time in order, they will record that way. You could also put them into separate vacation folders and burn them that way. That would be easier than one at a time. Hope that helps
