Specs: Macintosh
I have connected it with Firewire cable, tried to run it through Final Cut Pro and imovie, no camera detected. I have also tried connectivity with a Canon MV630i and same problem.

Are these cameras simply too old to be recognised by new Mac's?

I have had issues with panasonic compatibility before, is there any software I can download / change Firewire cable to a usb cable to make my MAC recognise this camera?

Macintosh =

Macbook =

Not a lot of system information......

I believe that Apple does not support the USB Connection, only Firewire !!

Maybe the Firewire Cable is not good ??

I just bought the Firewire today and it won't work...

I read that it can make a difference if it is a 400 or 800 cable, but I don't know how to tell the difference!
