Hi all, I am new and I have a query. I noted when i view video made with Win DVD that the audio doesn't seem to be in syn with the words coming out of a persons' mouth. Why might this be?

I think there are many 'possible' reasons for this.
I've found that editing a video can cause this problem. I started converting all my videos to MPEG1 for editing, which fixed it.
Also, when WinDVD converted your video from whatever format it was, to the DVD format (MPEG2), that 'might' have done it. If you are recording the videos yourself, you might want to try recording in the MPEG2 mode.

Might have been the result of a change of frame rate. Some programs don't seem to be able to adjust the audio frame rate efficiently, resulting in out of sync audio/video.
