Hi I gave my sister a 2nd hand camera but no software. She is finding it a bit confusing and I know that this Olympus AZ-1 cam with Camedia 4 Master but I was thinking to install something free like Xnview. Can any of the free programs auto run when the camera is plugged in? I also have Paint Shop Pro 4 on cd somewhere . The reason I can't get Camedia's software is they charge for it. I found no free download and I remembered that that is right as I had an Olympus camera last year myself but sold it with software. Any opinions? Whatever I get I have to send the link via email and instruct her over the phone so I want to make it as simple as possible. Plus she is a beginner.

If she is a beginner, picasa 3 would be the thing for her.

It is a great free program that is real user friendly. I even use it along with photoshop with my professional photography.
Once installed it will immediately ask to download the pics for viewing as soon as you connect the camera. Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
