Specs: Windows 7
Converting .SFW files on floppys so that I can open them. Photos from the 1990's stored on floppys. I want to be able to save in a new format or at least open and print. Thanks.

Irfanview will read SFW format, and it's free.

File Extension .SFW (Seattle Film Works Image) , try XNView & NConvert:

http://www.xnview.com/en/download.html

Googling is quicker than waiting for an answer....

I downloaded as suggested and it did not work. When I opened .SFW file it was a page of symbols.

Photos saved to floppy discs in 1997 but Foto Works. saved as Seattle Foto Works. That is .SFW NOT .SWF. They became ShutterFly in 2011. As late as 2007 the Fotoworks website had a file converter available.

If not select "Adobe Flash Player Projector for Windows" from here:

http://www.bannersnack.com/blog/dow...

I love IrfanView but found that the above handled some SWF's that Irfan didn't touch (those that required html code to fire them). It's from Adobe/Macromedia and is totally stand-alone. It doesn't affect your normal online Flash Player.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

I have SFW not SWF.
I loaded Irfanview then loaded Plugins.
It worked. I am so grateful. I am in tears looking back over photos of loved ones. Thanks heaps. You are wonderful.
