Ive baught a wireless video sender to link the output on my video card to my home telly. Ok no probs there all plugged in and working. Ive got the tv setup as a clone of my monitor.

I can see the fully colour picture on my telly as well as my monitor. Whooop

The wierd thing is. the whole reason i did this was so i could watch downloaded video clips etc on my telly instead on sitting in front of the comp. When i open a video i can see on my "cloned" tv picture the windows media player etc... but no picture.

I just see the borders and the tool bar and the windows desktop etc... so i know the sender and video feed is working but the file im playing fine on my monitor is just a black box. Ie no piture

Since its setup as a clone should it litterally be a mirror of whats on my desktop displayed on my tv ????

when i play a audio file i see the animation etc but when i play video files theres no picture i can still hear the sound.

Has anyone ever come across this before ???
i dont have a clue

Yeah, I have that as well. I solved the problem by making my television an extention of my monitor then sending the video (ie: Windows Media Player) to the #2 screen (television) then putting it full screen. I havn't found another way to do this, really, I didn't try to look since this way isn't a hastle for me.

You can try some other video players than windows Media Player. Such as Media Player Classic. I have never tried it, but I think it should work. You can get it from http://www.divx-digest.com/software/media_player_classic.html. It's free.
