Hello, I'm not sure what happened, but I cannot play many video formats in windows media player, but I used to be able to. Everything was fine till I got some adware or some evil internet crap and now windows media player will not play a video.. ONLY audio. The odd thing is that another player I use VLC Media Player will play all the videos wmp wont. Also, another player called Media Player classic, which I believe is based on WMP will also not play the videos only the audio. Any ideas?

Ok, even though I already had the divx codec installed, for some reason I had to re-install it and now it's working again. Hope this helps someone else out there
