no sound on dvd

I am trying to burn an episodic show onto dvd's using Ulead movie factory and after configuring everything i burnt the first dvd. When placing the dvd in my player there was no sound. There was also no sound when i put it in my computer's dvd player. The video files are avi's. WHat do i need to do?

What is the source of the AVI?? Perhaps the problem is with the AVI file you are burning.

How did u split the video, the free versions of some cut and past editing progs only allow for 2 pieces and no more, add a third cut and the sound is messed up or gone.
