Hi! Everybody,
Can somebody out there help me out with this problem I have? I have some photo's transfered from my digital camera to my computer. Now my digital camera (the memory) is empty, but I need the memory disk to make prints,so I tried to transfer the pictures back to my memeory stick, but when I put the stick into my digital camera and I set the camera in the preview mode,I get this message:No image file. But when I put the memory stick into my computer,it has all the pictures I've transfered. What should I do,so that I am able to see the pictures in the preview mode?
Hope I made my self clear enough and I thank you all in advance!
Matthew.

wait a second just so we understand, you put a memory stick in your camera like a usb one...or do you mean the memory card in your camera...instead of memory stick?

Sorry Dacompfixor1,I mean the memory card.It is the same card I transfered the pictures into my computer After I did that,my memory card was empty,so I transfered them back again from the computer into the memory card. After I did that,I was not able to preview them on my camera, but I could om the computer. Why is that?

Ok, do you take the memory card out of your camera and insert it into the PC or into a card reader?

ok,
1-put the card in the reader and open it.
2-Then go to the folder where your pics are stored and open that. Where they are stored, go up to edit and then click on select all.
3-Then right click on ythe highlited pics and click copy
4-Then go to the open folder of your memory card and right click on a blank spot in the open box
5-right click and then click on paste
They should all go back on your card again.
Let us know how you make out

Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

Hi! XpUser4Real,
Thanks for the excellent tip.It works, but why is it,that I am not able to see the copied pictures in my preview screen of my camera, but I am able to see them on my computer by puting the memory card through the card reader?
Hope you can explain that to me and thanks again!
Matthew.

As far as the preview in the camera, I really don't know the answer, but at least you got to load them back onto your card like you requested.

If your camera uses 2 video cards (which my Fuji s7000 does) then you will have to set the camera to the certain card, that's how mine would work. Or your camera may have a built-in chip holding maybe 16MB and you have to toggle your settings to the card you are inserting.

You're welcome for the info, thanks for posting back.

Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks
