No color in windows media player

I'm using ffdshow + xvid codecs, when I open a xvid or divx file with wmp, there are no colors. But it plays fine in VLC or media player classic. Can anyone help me?

(my wmp plays wmv and mpg with color, only avi is black and white.)

thanks for the info, but it doesnt seem to work.
i installed the lastest version of codecs already.
