Specs: Windows XP
The len doesn't come out all the way when turned on. Just goes back in. It's not battery. Does it need to be cleaned? Need for business.

Does the camera stay on when the lens retracts? If not it might be the power button.

But yeah, a cleaning is a good idea. Some dirt could have gotten inside. You could try spraying in some compresed air during the short period of time the lens it out but you should take it to the shop for a good cleaning. It might also be the lens motor or linkage. Again a shop problem.

No, the camera turns off. Thanks for the information. Trying to save money right now. Was hoping it was any easy fix. But thanks:0)

You might try varying how long and how hard you push the power button. Likely that's not the problem but it's the only easy fix I can think of that might be possible.
