I cannot find anywhere in Nero where you can select the option to burn a "dvd". All I get is to burn onto a "cd" - I was able to burn onto a dvd before, but the option isn't coming up now. I am not that familiar with computer lingo, so please give me any advise possible. What I show on my computer that I have is Nero Express 6, Nero Vision Express 2, Nero OEM-Nero Express, Nero Smartstart - I have went to all of these with no luck finding "dvd" options anywhere. I even did msconfig and under startup I found nerocheck and made sure it was checked. I don't think Nero is processing that I have an external dvd burner hooked up to my computer. Can anyone help me? I have a dvd in my burner and even when I go to my computer and see the "f" drive, it doesn't show anything at all - when I click on the "f" drive, it states to put in a disc. SO I am very confused. PLEASE HELP - I am trying to do a little special project for my neighbor who is 87 and would love to get this done right away.
Thanks - Debbie

If it is the same as mine - on the first screen that has the nero logo and top level titles "Make a video" "Copy a disk" etc there is a window showing the device - click in that window and there should be two devices for the same drive - one cd and one dvd

Do you have it set for CD or DVD?
There's a small Window at the top of the Nero app - like this
We've heard that a million monkeys at a million keyboards could produce the complete works of Shakespeare; now, thanks to the Internet, we know that is not true
