Nero 7 Problems

Nero buring ROM no longer works. The little splash screen comes up then an error message - I don't even know where to start. I uninstalled then reinstalled from another copy and still the same. Other components of Nero work fine...

Have you checked for updates? I know there is an ASPI patch for XP on their site.
I'd say start with Nero support, although the last time I requested support they never even answered back.
Maybe you'll be luckier.

The larger the company, the less chance they'd answer. When was the last time anyone got any reply from Microsoft that they could actually use ?
Nero 7 is v7.0.0
that means, lots of bugs.
maybe downgrade to 6.6 and use that for a while.

I recently bought Nero 7 and have the same problem. I managed to contact Nero who told me I had an early retail copy and should uninstall then download a new version from their website. They told me to uninstall using the 'Nero Clean Up Tool' which I could download. I tried this and it got nowhere finding 'Nero programs that were unsupported by the tool'. Further mail to Nero is ignored. I have not used Windows option to uninstall - is this what you did and did it work OK? A little worried as Nero seems to have tentacles everywhere.
