I am looking for a good video editing software, than can edit sections out of the video not just the beginning or end. Also with other good editing function like spil screen. Is there any out there that are good but yet affordable???

There are plenty. Adobe Premier Elements is probably the most robust of the bunch and is less than $100. It will do what you are asking and tons more. But beware, the learning curve is pretty steep and it's main function is for video camera import, and is pretty finnicky about file type. It's not for everyone. Check the forum:

I Have Pinnacle Studio 9 and 10, Avid liquid 7, Ulead Media Studio Pro 8, And Sony Vegas 7. Out of those I prefer Sony Vegas 7... but it's not exactly cheap. Sony does have a little brother called Sony Vegas Movie Studio which is about $120... I would say that it's the next best thing.

Thanks for the info i just got a new JVC harddrive camcorder and want to mess around with some editing nothing serious just want to get a software with good functions.

I have Pinnacle 10.7. Great interface and it works a treat, but like most video editors it can be a real "princess" about not having other programs interfering with it. But I have been doing some great things with my home videos that I am burning to DVDs.

Then industry pollutes the water and kills all the fish.
