My VIDE EXPLOSION works with MPEG and don't w

Specs: Windows 7
I hve HPE-500f PC working with windows 7. I installed VIDEO EXPLOSION DELUXE version 1.5 and if I convert the video to MPG works ok, if I live the video as come from the DV camcorder, AVI the VIDEO EXPLOSION show just the sound trach and the video track is white. Can you help me?

Do you have a DV codec installed on the computer? You can download the Panasonic DV codec for free.

You see, your DV camera encodes the video using its built-in DV codec, and your computer save it, using the AVI container (AVI container can be used for a number of different codecs). Without a DV codec installed, your computer can't decode the video stream.
