I hav s dvd+r blank disc by phillips,i burnt a movie on them,and they play fine on my computer,but it wont play on my magnavox dvd player?why is that?

Well it could be a couple things. First it might depend on the media itself. It's possible that you dvd player doesn't accept and dvd+r's. I would check the manual for this. The other factor is the dvd region of the burnt dvd. Say your dvd only play north american dvd's(NTSC) and your burning a copy of a European dvd(PAL) then it will not work. I would try playing the original in your dvd player.
