msn messenger not showing my webcam or cam.

ok well i have a Trust Webcam 14823 i dont know if its a device or a actual camera name. but when i plug it in it installed perfectly but i still cant cam in msn or vid my games. in msn it says if i want to use webcam i need to buy it here.but i have the webcam plugged in. i bought the cam couple of years back =) now i want to use it again. i would really be thankful if someone would respond =) thanks.
