I recently purchases an inexpensive movie program(Magix Movie edit pro 12) and when I compress full length movies to either avi or wmv. it becomes very chopy. I was wondering if this issue is in the particular conversion(avi, wmv) or my system, or the program. When I convert smaller home made movies this doesn't seem to be an issue. But full length films don't make the cut. Suggestions?

Try to download the divX:
http://www.divx.com/divx/windows/do...
Probably in that program you have "rendering options" or something like that, after instaling DivX, probably, there will apear in the compression options DivX something select that and you will see that the file size will be considebly smaller and it might help your original problem.
(im not sure about this but give it a try)

Best Regards

What is your source? Are you trying to copy a movie off of a DVD? Or are you downloading pre-ripped movies from a P-P file sharing program? What format are your movies in?
