After installing MO 2003, I lost Photo Editor, now havew Picture Manager which is a mess to work with. Went to Uni. of Western Australia site and downloaded an exe. for Editor. My desktop suddenly had 12 DLL files and not being technical I didn't know what to do next. My XP installation disc is older than the version I'm running - upgrades etc. - so that won't work. Help please!

Yes... MO2003 deletes photo editor which is a bit of a piss off. Photo editior does things that most other editors can not like open multiple photos, paste as new...

What I did was a manual uninstall of mo2000 before the install of mo2003, then after installing mo2003, I did a custom install of mo2000 in its own folder checking only photo editor in the install menu.

This works but it did lead to problems when I tried to update mo2003, so it is suggested that you update mo2003 BEFORE reinstalling mo2000

Try the Workaround shown in the following MS Article entitled "Photo Editor is removed when you install Office 2003" unless you don't have the MO 2003 CD.

Thanks for the replies, both of you. I don't have the experience- or the disc - to do any major tampering. I've installed Adobe Photoshop and hope I get used to that as a solution!
