Hey all. I use DVDFab and I have been trying to crop my 4:3 letterboxed version of a movie to remove the bars and leave only the video (as if it were an anamorphic transfer). Unfortunately, the only way to do this seems to be to convert it to a different file format. And then I have no way of converting it back to the proper DVD VOB files. Any suggestions?

VOB files are actually equivalent to MPG2. So if you have an MPG2 editor, you could probably use it to crop the top and bottom of the 4:3 video to make it 16:9.

Have a look at Allok Video Joiner - it will allow work on single files and I think it will allow you to crop your 4:3 to 16:9.
