I have the appropriate USB connectors, I just need to know what software to use to transfer JPEGs from a PC to a mobile phone and vice/versa without having to subscribe to a download service.

Yes, you have to subscribe to a monthly service to download/save/transfer photos, music, and ringtones. There are several services including Verizon's own to do that. They aren't cheap. I got the problem solved though. I got Pix 'n Tunes software for very cheap and it will do just about anything I want. Thanks.

Not with Verizon, if you want the extra Get It Now services and/or V Cast, you pay for them. Nothing is free.
