I know that an I=pod is a music player of some kind and there are other music players advertised every week in the BestBuy/CircuitCity ads in Sunday paper. What does I-pod do? Is there a comparable alternative for less cost? I know what an mp3 file is becaause I have a gizmo that I hook up to my laptop from my stero receiver and record a program from FM radio every Sunday afternoon. Can you play mp3 on I-pod? Thanks. I figured going to I-pos site will just get me advertising hype and I can get straight story here.
