Inserting pics into word & excel
Name: holden88 Date: April 13, 2006 at 22:04:11 Pacific OS: XP CPU/Ram: 1.8g / 1 g Product: of what?
Comment:
When using word or excel and I try to insert a picture into a document from file, the program freezes up and I get a "not responding". I've tried uninstalling and then re-installing office xp, but the problem persists. The other functions of word/excel seem to run fine?
Any ideas what's causing this.
PS-I've extensively cleaned my system with a variety of virus and spyware/adware removers (adware, adware-away, spybot, hijack this, spyware doctor).

I had this problem once with another program and somebody explained what it was but I've forgotten - anyway, the work around was to make the original image as big as possible on the screen, press "print screen" and then ctrl+v or edit paste into the application. As you go from a large image to a small you should retain resolution.
