Dear computing.net,
Whenever I open PDF files or image files (of all sorts of file types) in Adobe Reader or Photoshop 7.0, the images are displayed only in heavily distorted greens, purples, blacks, and whites. I'm no veteran user of either programs, but I've tried changing the accessability preferences in Reader and color modes in photoshop to no avail. This color distortion occurs when I open digital photos that I've taken or images that I download from the internet. However, when I open these files normally (using Ulead Photo Explorer), the images appear fine. What should I do to make the images display with normal color in Adobe Reader? Would I have to edit every single image file in the pdf document, or could I merely change a setting/preference in Adobe Reader to make the whole document display correctly? Thanks.
Sincerely,
JeffP.S. I would be very happy to send an email with a sample of the distorted image to anyone interested in helping me discover the solution to this problem.

When you installed photoshop 7, I believe there was an option to set up the colors in some way (during the installation before the program was installed). I kind've remembered that from when I installed mine.
That's about all I know short of the fact of maybe uninstalling photo7, use Crap Cleaner and ATF-Cleaner to clean out excess cookies and temp files, then do a defrag, reboot and then reinstall it and when it gets to that message, let it set up the colors. HTHHopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks
