Specs: Windows 7
I have a video from a court that I need to burn for my attorney. The extension shows .dsf and I am unable to find anyway to open this file or view it. Can anyone help?

Sorry, this is my first time encountering this issue and google threw me here for help. I hate to sound even more ignorant than before, however....Basically we get a new client, we contact the prosecuting attorney with a request for discovery and any/all videos pertinent to our client's arrest. In the bookking rooms and jails, whatever they record, they send to us on a disk. This disk came showing an extension of .dsf. I'm clearly not a computer guru and cannont find any information on how I can open, view, copy or really do anything with this disk. My laptop does not recognize it as a valid file and I'm completely clueless (and beyond frustrated) on how to be able to access the data on the disk. So again, my apologies for not knowing that this had been addressed, but if there is any info you can give me that would at least point me in the right direction, I'd be very grateful.

Apparently .dsf is the extension used by closed circuit tv for surveillance video. The are programs to convet to the more common ,avi and .mp? formats, Converting to a DVD may be the most practical.
