I cant get my computer to read the pictures

I know what i did.. I accidently deleted a folder that normally would pop up under the name of my camera card when it is inserted into the computer.. Now that it has been deleted the computer will not read the pictures on the card.. I do not remember what the folder name was and I can not find it anywhere on my computer

an alternative would be picasa 3 from google. Install it and it will recognize your cam or your card and let you view or download the pics to your pc. Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
