Ok, How can I test the FPS rate on my webcam? Because I know I am not getting the 30 FPS that I should be.
Some background: I have a PYRO 1394 (Firewire) Webcam which should easily get 30 FPS. According to the ADStech.com website, I don't need any other drivers as they are included in XP, but I did get a notice that I need to install drivers because of SP2. So, I wasn't sure what to do so I installed them. When I look at the device manager it says Generic 1394 Desktop camera and not PYRO 1394 Webcam. I just have this gut feeling that the correct drivers are not installed/or working and that is really slowing me down. Thanks in advance for the help and suggestions.
