I used my digital camera (Canon A400) to take a video. It's in AVI format and the duration playing the video is 35 seconds. But the file size is very big, 11 MB. How can I reduce the size to, say, not more than 2 MB so that I can attach to an email ?

You can use the Movie Maker program built into XP. It will give your several options for file size when you re-encode it. Remeber however that the smaller the file size the lower the quality of the video.
