I use a snazio dvr card. Can you please tell me that how can a pause a recording in between, as i have to stop first and then join the clips/chunks which is time consuming and also degrades quality. Is there any software for it?

Unfamiliar with that program, but in most video editing suites, hitting the space bar acts as "pause/play"...
