I have lost some .jpeg files from my camera memory card. I used recovery software and got back some of those. But they are of .tmp files with 2 to 3 megabytes. My problem is how to get them back to .jpeg format.?

Try changing the suffix from .tmp to .jpg. If there are lots to do then you can change them all in bulk by using a simple command line from the command prompt - post back if you need info on this. "I've always been mad, I know I've been mad, like the most of us..." Pink Floyd
