im not sure if im breaking any rules suggesting this (if i am i will edit the message etc and apologies upfront) but it is possible to use forms of screen capture software to capture what is shown on screen; i use this to create training tutorials. capturing sound from a program into video screen capture can be done via a standard line in cable (speaker cable) and altering settings for input. I believe you could use this method to capture streaming/ online video, but please ensure you are given the rights to record this video content first etc usual disclaimers apply.
