3 weeks ago I bought a Canon DC 230 digital video camera. My problem is that I have difficulties by converting Canons WRO video format into WMF or AVI format. I have a small program for video conversion, named Prism provided by NCH Software. It works allright, but the WRO format can't be supported.

I believe the file format is VRO, not WRO. There are a number of converters that supposedly handle VRO files.

Here's a few links to get you started:

topvideopro

videoredo

MPEG Streamclip

Please let us know if you found someone's advice to be helpful.

Hi hi Sci-Guy

Thank you very much for taking your time to solve the problem - maybe.
I haven't tried the links yet, because I have other things to do, but I'll return to this forum in a while to let you know if it have worked out properly.

I always use Daniusoft Video Converter which could convert any popular video formats with crop, trim and effect functions as you want.

And there are some free video converters such as Videora, SUPER. http://www.videora.com
They are free, but always do the work without best quality.
