I don't have a DVD burner. I have some quick time files to help me learn knitting but since we only have one computer I can't always get on here to view them. Is there anyway I can save them to CD for playback on my little portable DVD player?
Also is there anyway to save this file? It is going to be months before I can get to the project and then if the instructions are gone I am not going to be happy. Mary

http://www.arcsoft.com/support/down... Showbiz DVD 2 will convert the file. The above link is for a trial of the software, not sure if it's fully functional. You can then make a VCD of the mov files you want. My showbiz came bundled with my HP DVD writer. I'm really not sure if a VCD would play on your portable DVD Player. They seem to play on my DVD player hooked up to my TV.
Good Luck
Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

My portable player is supposed to play all formats so I am assuming it would. So I need to convert the file and then make a VCD. I have a program to make VCD's so I will have to see if I can get the files converted. Thanks for the info. Mary
God knew I couldn't be a pioneer, that's why he gave me a computer!
