OK, I downloaded 48 parts of an "avi" video & tried to use the HJSplit program to join all 48 chunks together.
When I open the "join" part of the program,in my C drive where all of the avi chunks are, none of the chunks are showing up. The one I need to show up is the first one with the "001", but it doesn't show up in the HJSplit "C Drive" box. I know all of the chunks are in my C drive.

Anyone know how to correct this? Thanks in advance

Yes, use the same application that was used to split it into 48 chunks.

Otherwise, I do not know.

Hello, make sure you can see the .001 split file in a windows folder, a friend once swore to me that he had downloaded all the files to the same folder, only to find out that the .001 he had downloaded to the desktop. Try downloading that file again and make sure it's extension is .001 because if it is another extension, hjsplit wont see it.

OK, I think I know what the problem is. The "001" file is being downloaded as a video, not a document. So, HJSPLIT doesn't recognize it. How can I change the video to a document when downloading it?
