help Photoshop CS6 problem

Specs: Windows XP
hi there I'm using Photoshop CS6, 32-bit version. Every time I use a brush, especially a hard brush, it's quite inconsistent--not getting the right curve, and not loading immediately. This is especially notable with a larger brush size, which is what I'd expect, but even with a much smaller brush size, it lacks some precision. This is a bit of problem, so can you please help me out? Here are my specs:

Someone on her might be able to assist but perhaps it would be worth googling for a Photoshop CS6 forum.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

With a professional application like that it's best to use the official Adobe forum where you'll find plenty of fellow-users (and knowledgeable ones):

What are you using as an input? touchscreen, tablet, mouse? I would suspect the method of input and its settings for something like your problem.
