I'm doing a speech in my communications class about Warren Jeffs and I need to use this video http://youtube.com/watch?v=s1cTk2cJQac during my presentation. Does anyone know how to snag a movie off of youtube?

How to circumvent the measures taken by YouTube to prevent theft of content?

Sorry, can't (won't) help you with that.

Please let us know if you found someone's advice to be helpful.

Simplest way is to use youtubex.com.

save2pc (formerly YouTube Downloader) 3.11

save2pc is a free tool that downloads videos from Youtube or Google Video and saves it as Avi or Mpeg or Flv file to your local computer.
save2pc allows you to easily grab and save desired youtube video. The user interface of save2pc is very simple, so you don't need any technical knowledge to use it. No need to use scripts for web browsers. Just run save2pc and start downloading!

If you are using Firefox browser, download their U-Tube add-on button; go to your U-Tube site, click the button and it will auto-download. Note that after you have it downloaded, you may have to convert it to AVI to play on your computer. SUPER (free) will do this nicely for you, go here, the download button is at the bottom:

Whuups, I just checked last night and for some reason the Foxfire downloader was disabled by Foxfire for some reason. It always worked perfectly for me dozens of times. Anyone know anything about this?

Try using the save2pc. It is much easier and you don't have to add it on to anything.
